It's been an eye-opener. Place a wine at Babbo, as we did (here), and suddenly people are doing searches for it. The effect is immediate and striking.
Case in point, as Rod Serling used to say: Luca Pasquinelli put our 100% Aleatico dessert wine (Nanerone) on the tasting menu, and a spate of searches for this wine began hitting the Domenico Selections web site. Another: He added our Rasott Aglianico from the small but excellent producer Boccella, and the same thing happened immediately.
By the way, judging from the IP addresses of many of the searchers, the expense account dinner is alive and well.
I suppose this verifies the old adage, It ain't how much you got, it's what you do with it.
Works with sex and works with wine. How great is that?

Terry / Strappo,
My regular reading of Mondosapore kind of fell off a few months ago. Then today, finding my way back, I discover that you have a whole new life as a wine importer! It's just the kind of bold move many of us dream of.
Congratulations! Buona Fortuna!
Based on the reviews and customers you've signed, it looks like a successful start-up.
I'll keep my eyes open for your wines here in Joisey. Advance warning of any upcoming tastings will be much appreciated.

I'm curious if it was being served as a pairing for one of Babbo's tasting menu items? I only ask because I'm often hunting down the wines they serve me with the tasting menu (which is one of the greatest values in NYC!)

Taz, you may find our wines at a number of NJ retailers and a few restos/wine bars (like 16 Prospect in Westfield). Email jeff@domenicoselections.com -- he'll tell you where you can find what.
Katie, the Nanerone is on the tasting menu this summer. Babbo's done a great job with it.
