Strappo, I love Falanghina and am a close follower of Luciano's Italian blog. It is too bad that his English site (www.lucianopignataro.com) does not keep up with the Italian one. I'm trying to convince him, though...

I agree with you about the lag in the English version. It's a shame because he offers a wealth of knowledge about the food and wine of the Mezzogiorno, especially Campania, and the information would help transform the way we over here regard that region of Italy.

My own feeling is that the South of Italy in general has the most varied and appealing food, and a great diversity of delicious, exciting wines to pair with it. When I say "most" I mean the most in Italy as a whole.

You're doing your part to expose more Americans and other foreigners to the best in Campania -- brava!
